Who We Are…
Who we are...
Emmanuel Home School Academy (EHSA) is a support organization for families in Zambia who desire to educate their children at home. We have been involved with home education since 1996 and registered our Academy in 2011 as the demand for services grew beyond what we were able to provide on a volunteer basis. It is the vision of EHSA to equip parents who are ultimately accountable for the instruction and training of their children.
What We Do...
A full suite of services are provided to enhance the education offered to the children in EHSA. Our academic services include research and writing projects, advanced science projects, as well as internationally recognized computer courses. All academic moderation is fully accredited and assessed through ICCE (UK) who issues our graduates with an internationally recognized and certified diploma which will enable them to study at an educational institution of their choice anywhere in the world.
Some of our services...
Throughout the year we organize educational field trips to Zambian organizations and companies such as the Pepsi factory, ZamLeather factory, Sobi Paper factory, a wide range of commercial farms, museums, etc. An annual survival camp is also organized where students work on personal development, learn teamwork, and get to appreciate the wide outdoors as they are equipped to survive on their own. EHSA also leads a team of Zambian students for the annual All Africa Student Convention which is hosted in South Africa. We consistently outperform our peers from countries all over the African continent.
Our network is growing...
With over twenty-five member home schools EHSA is expanding rapidly as is our vision, mission, and level of support. We continually strive to offer our members the best possible service and are always available to assist with any query our members may have. It is our desire that member home schools proactively contact us so we can further enhance the quality and quantity of the education offered to their children.
In the today’s world we need to instill in the next generation a life-long passion to learn, live, and grow in an ever changing and fast world. The only way for them to be ready to live in such a world is for us as parents to start taking responsibility for the training of our young minds and pure hearts that have been entrusted into our care. Education is Life! Join us to build the future of your child by shaping his mind and heart into a child who will be commended for his or her wisdom as a righteous follower of Christ.
